Department Festival is a cash-free event. We only accept credit cards when paying at the entrance, bars, merch or when buying food.

You must provide your ticket, printed or on your mobile at the entrance before you gain access to the area.

You need to be at least 18 years if you want to go to the Department Festival.

You're NOT allowed to bring your own drinks. Beer, wine, cider and non-alcoholic beverages are sold in the area.

There will be containers for different materials, please help us put the right waste in the right container. We ask you to respect this, otherwise we cannot sort and recycle the material. We have volunteers in the area who go around with our environmental forms. They will want to ask some questions and we hope you want to help us answer them. It takes no time at all and is completely anonymous.

The Department Festival serves VEGAN food only.

Photography for publication is not permitted without the festival's approval. You're of course allowed to bring your mobile phone and use it to take pictures for individual use. As a private person you can bring your camera and lens with 55mm lens but without any extra accessories. Flash is not allowed to use. Filming and recording is not allowed but it is allowed to record and take pictures with a mobile phone.

The festival site has both security guards and health care personnel circulating. If you see or hear something that seems threatening or strange, contact one of these at the entrance and they will help you. Department Festival has a zero tolerance policy against racism, sexual harassment, other offending behaviours and all kinds of violence. At times when this may occur, we have the full right to relocate involved persons from the area and it may lead to a police report. If you see or hear anything, report to our security guards at the entrance.

There are several toilets in the area. Please remember to clean up after you.

The festival area is located in Slakthusområdet, Stockholm. The nearest station is Globen and the adress is Hallgränd 19.

We prefer that ALL visitors use Stockholm's public transport system to get to the festival area. If you travel from outside Stockholm we advise you to take the train. Please help us, and the planet, by traveling as environmental friendly as possible.

Bags larger in size than the equivalent of an A4 paper cannot be allowed inside the venue as decided by the Swedish Police.
